Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you contact us, sign up for a free resource or buy a service, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address and message.
- Purchase information. When you buy a course, we collect your name, email address, billing country and ZIP or postal code, a phone number if you choose to give one, and the products you bought. Your card details go directly to our payment processor, Stripe.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider and security tools record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you visit. This helps keep the site secure and working properly.
- Cookies. We use cookies that the site needs to work and, where you agree, other cookies. You can manage your choices through our cookie notice, where it’s shown, and through your browser settings.
How we use your information
- To reply to your messages and requests.
- To provide resources or services you ask for.
- To send emails you’ve signed up for. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
- To keep the site secure, prevent misuse and understand how it’s used so we can improve it.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Payments
If you buy from us, your payment is handled by Stripe, our payment processor. We don’t receive or store your full card details. Stripe’s handling of your information is covered by its own privacy policy.
Who we share information with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only when needed:
- Service providers that help us run the site and our services, such as website hosting (SiteGround), payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Brevo), cookie consent (CookieYes) and security. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- Course creators. When you buy a course created by another educator, such as Sarah Staar Business School, we share your name and email address with them so they can give you access to the course in their members area. They may also send you their own newsletter and offers, covered by their own privacy policy. You can unsubscribe from their emails at any time.
- Video players. Some pages include videos hosted by Vimeo or Vidalytics. When you play a video, those services may collect technical information and set cookies under their own privacy policies.
- Third-party forms. Some sign-up forms on this site may be run by third-party services. When you submit one, your information goes to that service and is also covered by its privacy policy.
- Legal reasons. If the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or BeamWorth.
- Business changes. If BeamWorth is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete it.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email. Depending on where you live, for example in the European Union, the UK or California, you may have additional rights under local law. BeamWorth isn’t intended for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.
